SKEMA Business School is seeking applicants forthe position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Strategy to begin on September 2018. The position is based in Lille (France).

Main Responsibilities Of The Appointee

Publish in peer-reviewed journals
Teach and develop new courses at different levels in Strategy and Innovation
Supervise MSc students, and possibly in the future PhD students
Participate to the institutional school life (internal / external)

Requirements

PhD in Strategy or a related field.
For Associate level position: Publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals
Research in one or more specialization areas of current faculty members.
Demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent teaching at different levels
Be able to teach in English (knowledge of French, although not strictly required, would be appreciated)
Strong teamwork and communication skills, willingness to contribute to the research activities of the research center

Successful candidate will be part of the Research Centre in Strategy that is dedicated to promoting top level research. Centre’s main research fields include:

Entrepreneurship and venture capital
International strategy
Open and user innovation
Organisation dynamics
Strategic and dynamic capabilities

We organize regular research seminars on the three French campuses and host international workshops. Members of the center publish in international journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, British Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Harvard Business Review France, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Management International, Organisation Studies, Research Policy, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Strategic Management Journal.
