CEMS
As part of the Alumni and Corporate Relations Team, CEMS is seeking an Alumni Manager. This position will report directly to the President of the CEMS Alumni Association and the CEMS Secretary General.
About CEMS:
Founded in 1988, CEMS is a global alliance of 31 leading business schools and universities, over 70 multinational companies, and 7 NGOs that together offer the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM). The CEMS MIM is a pre-experience postgraduate degree open to high-calibre, internationally minded, multilingual students enrolled in a Master’s in Management (MiM) programme at one of the CEMS member schools, from which over 13.000 Alumni have graduated to date. For many years, the CEMS MIM has been ranked among the top Masters degrees by international publications.
Your main mission & responsibilities:
Your principal mission as Alumni Manager is to develop and implement the global CEMS Alumni engagement strategy, in cooperation with CEMS stakeholders and CEMS alumni around the world.
Responsibilities include:
Increase Alumni Association membership value, also with the aim of increasing revenues
Engage with Local Chapter and Global Group leaders to maximize impact and facilitate operations
Individually explore engagement opportunities with most senior alumni
Develop and co-deliver marketing and communications plan and campaigns
Facilitate the governance of the CEMS Alumni Board and General Assembly, preparing strategic inputs, implementation details and providing regular updates on progress
Facilitate representation of Alumni in CEMS governance boards and committees
Create alumni programme at main CEMS Global Events (1000 – 3000 participants)
Create annual budgets for the CEMS Alumni Association and follow up with annual reporting
Oversee eventual fundraising / crowdfunding etc campaigns
Contribute to the retention of existing CEMS Corporate Partners and to the integration of prospects through the creation of a CEMS alumni ambassador’s community
Engage CEMS Alumni to contribute to the CEMS Master’s in International Management curriculum
Supervise the CEMS Alumni Officer position
The position implies travelling abroad and occasionally, late hours and weekend work.

Communication and marketing skills
Experience with database management
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Additional qualifications rounding up your profile :
Knowledge of French and/or another major language
Events management experience
Fundraising experience
Finance acumen: able to manage and create budget
Governance knowledge, preferably in associations / public sphere: Proven track-record in organising board meetings
Experience with working in Higher Education / Academia
Education & Experience :
Master degree preferred
5+ years experience in a similar role (customer relationship management; stakeholder management)
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
